Artist's Comments
So this time I wanted to do a mask with a subject which I really love, so I decided to make a koi pond mask. I also wanted one that I could paint more extensively than my previous uploads. I am going to be hard pressed to part with this mask now though D: cause I really like the result. The lotus flower was made from three circles of leather and riveted to the main mask. The lines and scales of the koi were put on with a scale leather punch and a metal stylus. The paint is acrylic based both airbrush and drybrushing.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
